CIS Students Shine at
Hackalytics 2024!
Sarah Alrazi
I am excited to highlight the remarkable achievements of our College of Interdisciplinary Studies (CIS) students at Hackalytics 2024, held at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Competing against over 1,100 participants from around the world, the team of Sohazur Islam, Shanzila Ahmed, Arthur Diniz, and Maryam Alabbar secured an impressive 3rd place in the Sports Track.
Their journey began with a 20-hour flight, followed by 36 intense hours of coding and collaboration—all while overcoming significant jet lag. Their unwavering dedication and teamwork truly exemplified the spirit of Zayed University on an international stage.
Special thanks to Zia Saunders for the invaluable support and to Zayed University for sponsoring their participation. This achievement not only reflects their hard work but also showcases the talent within the CIS program. It was an inspiring experience that underlines the importance of innovation and collaboration in the tech field.
Congratulations to our CIS students for making us proud! 🌟
